Fun at The Pfister Hotel
A couple months back, during an unseasonably warm Wisconsin weekend, some blogger babes and I booked ourselves a little stay-cation at Milwaukee’s famous Pfister Hotel. In the heart of downtown Milwaukee, this architectural stunner definitely stands out with very regal feels. Once inside, the amazing classical interiors are warm, welcoming and upscale with strong Greco Roman influence. I met up with the girls, touched up my makeup and was ready to relax and have some photography fun!
Off to the pool in my retro striped one-piece, complete with pinup curls and a head scarf. This was truly a treat for us Wisconsin women in the Winter! The pool room was so warm and humid with an awesome view and the afternoon sun shining in. Note: It was not that easy to get 4 girls on a flamingo float, but it sure was fun!
We freshened up and headed to a late lunch at the Cafe at the Pfister and up to the Club Lounge for cocktails. Now the staycation was really beginning! I chose a black wide-cropped leg jumpsuit with bright red pumps for a pop of color. Then a pop of champagne to celebrate with dinner at the Mason Street Grill! After dining on so much deliciousness, it was time for one more wardrobe change. Into a cocktail dress for a night cap at with a panoramic view at the renowned Blu bar and lounge. I finally cut the tags off of this sequined mini dress that’s been stashed in my closet for four years now!
We woke up tired after a long night of girl talk. But what better way to slay an adult sleepover than matching pajama sets and cute coordinating robes?! Now it was time to try the Pfister’s in-room dining for a leisurely morning. As you can see, it did NOT disappoint! The french toast and fresh fruit plate were my favorites, after enjoying a hot tea with Milwaukee’s morning sun shining into our Pfister suite.
What a fun and fantastic idea to do a stay-cation in our own city as a much needed break from Milwaukee’s monotonous Winter weather! We had a great time and a hard time returning to reality… but we definitely did it up right at The Pfister Hotel and ended our stay the right way with spa services at the Well Spa & Salon.
