BoHo Picnic in the Park
This photo shoot tho…. THIS is the one. This is the shoot that got so much attention and motivated me to move forward with styling and creative directing photo shoots. The idea was sparked one day while chatting with my friend Mei, of Colors of Mei, about taking pictures at Lake Michigan. From there, the idea blossomed into a boho picnic in the park, with some lovely ladies in sundresses.
I didn’t even make a mood board for this one. I really didn’t have time, I just made it happen! But I knew I wanted two things for the boho picnic. Real flower crowns and a tree swing! Ever since I first moved to Milwaukee and have been driving along it’s beautiful Lake Memorial Drive, I’ve been dreaming of taking pictures on a tree swing at the lakefront. I brought in some wicker furniture, pretty plates and pillows from my favorite rental shop. Real and faux floral, wine, treats and some of my blogger friends. We had a great time swinging around and enjoying the Summer weather in the park at our boho picnic! Might even recreate this again for Summer ’19!
