Embroidered Dress at The Greenhouse

Embroidered Dress at The Greenhouse

The Kohler American Club Greenhouse to be exact! I recently participated in my first Blogger Collab Day photo shoot. When I heard to was going to be at the American Club, I signed up immediately because I’ve been dying to see this place! Since moving up from Chicago to Milwaukee, I’ve heard so much about it. But I had not heard about this greenhouse…. So I was even more excited and had a brand new floral embroidered dress to wear. This dress was my first purchase from ASOS for my SIL’s wedding. I tend to shop in store more than online, but I was looking for something special that spoke to me. And ASOS has petite sizes so also a win!

The American Club was kind and generous enough to let us lounge around the cafe for a while and take tons of photos, and treating us to hot tasty drinks. The stained glass, the hanging plants, the velvet cushions… and ALL the Art Deco style inside The Greenhouse was giving me life!! Gonna just live here now. K, thanks! Outside the courtyard looked very lovely, and I cannot wait to see in the Summer when things are green again and everything has bloomed. Some sweet treats and a latte out here would definitely be living my best patio life.

This embroidered dress was worn for the rehearsal dinner, and worked very well for the location and venue. This would be a very great option for any Spring/Summer wedding or formal event. The cool grey color is so soft and pretty. The flow-y sleeves and open back add an extra feminine touch. I really love the vintage feel of the dress and how it compliments and coordinates so well with the interiors of The Greenhouse. I used and old little white eyelet leather clutch and nude scrappy sandals since there is already so much color, and texture with the floral embroidery. Not to mention, the hat! Giving it even more of an upscale and retro look. I just love it.

I had such a great time at my first Blogger Collab Day creating content and networking with some other local bloggers. We even got a swag bag with goodies from local shops and makers. Can’t wait for my next blogger collaborate day and when I can return to the The Greenhouse with my husband for that patio latte!
