Fall, fashion, friends and a harvest feast. These were my inspirations for one of my most recent styled shoots. I enjoy experimenting and branching out doing styled shoots that aren’t wedding focused. I also really enjoy dining outside. Especially with some of my favorite blogger babes at a gorgeous, styled table under a tree!

Still honing my creative direction skills, but pretty happy with how everything turned out here. Especially since we had to work with about 1/3 of the time that we had planned. I created the mood board above with images from Pinterest and a color scheme of my creation.

I knew I wanted mostly warm tones. I told my girls to wear any color that we find in Fall foliage. I feel like Mother Nature’s colors this time of year warm our hearts and souls with their beauty as the temps get colder. I’m, obviously, obsessed with the rusty reds this season, since I’m dressed head to in it here. The ladies did not disappoint, donning golds, prints and neutrals for the styled shoot.

For the table setting and decor, I kept the table cloth dark and heavy with a charcoal grey micro suede. Love how the gold flatware, goblets and colorful fruit pop off of the dark grey fabric. Maybe my favorite from the table setting is the mix and match, ivory floral plates. They were the perfect was to add some interest and femininity to the table top. Also used a few different styles of vintage wood chairs and tall gold candle sticks to lend a bit of that cozy, old world feel to the set.

Lastly, I added the gorgeous salmon velvet upholstered wingback chair and side table for a second little vignette and photo op, which all the girls loved posing in. We had a lot of fun and I really loved creative directing this styled shoot! Already thinking about the next one. What will it be?….
Stay tuned!
