Black and white polka dots is a classic print that we will continue to see season after season. The tie-front/cut-out trend is something that will come and go. But this polka dot dress combines the two terrifically for trending lightly this Spring and Summer. Surprisingly I only own one other polka dot piece, and I had to have this immediately once I saw it on the rack!
Why it works:
The strappy black, block heeled sandal is THE perfect shoe for this polka dot dress. I could also see a white or red similar sandal, or a classic black pointy pump. But that’s about it. You don’t want the wrong shoe to stink up this preppy style! Black and white Kate Spade bag was a no-brainer. And a high pony tail for a little retro and playful feels.
My purchases are typically on trend and on time for the season. My posts however, sometimes are not. But in this case it works out because this polka dot dress is currently on clearance!
