Coffee, clothes and condo life
These 3 things basically sum up our recent trip to Florida. Morning walks to get coffee, me sporting all the new Spring style I can, and relaxing with the family in this marble filled, mirror water front condo. Grandma and Grandpa, Lillian’s great grandparents, were kind enough to let us stay in their condo when they heard we needed a last minute getaway. So naturally I took advantage of the antique furniture and balcony views to take pics of my outfits. It was also great to have a home base, where we could cook our own meals and not pay for an extra night when our plans changed last minute!
I’d been wanting to wear this outfit for a couple weeks now since I put it together back at home. Love all the colors and casual chic feels here. Trying out the headwrap trend and a couple other new pieces. Wore this in the morning for coffee, then again after the pool for dinner!
Why it works:
These mom jeans are hands down my current favorites. Comfortable, on trend and high-waisted to help give me some shape. And little cuffs at the bottom because showing ankles is still very in this season. The boxy, scrappy cut of this camisole is perfect for tucking in and creating that blousy/drapey look. The rusty brown earth tone compliments the blue jeans, with a nice medium polka dot print. Brown strappy sandals are a staple for my Spring/Summer wardrobe. I liked the contrast of the black head wrap, but I also liked the cream head wrap with this (they come in a 2-pack). Either way I’m loving these hair accessories as an easy way to trend lightly!
