When I heard that I new clothing boutique was opening up in our little village of Whitefish Bay, Wisconsin, I was obviously excited and anxious for it’s arrival. I was invited to the opening party of Soho Boutique this Winter, where I shopped, sipped wine and tried on too many clothes. Since I’ve returned to the Soho Boutiques, in both the Third Ward and Whitefish Bay locations, to shop for Summer style. I enjoy, and truly appreciate the mature aesthetics, quality fabric and construction, and styles that trend lightly. Definitely found MANY pieces that I wanted to add to my wardrobe!
Sharing today this look I wore while walking around Whitefish Bay. I tried on this pair of white denim and they’re like butter! So soft and fit like a glove. Separately, I had tried on this bell-sleeved, navy top because I loved the “cross-stich” detail on the sleeves. Then the lovely Lindsey, suggested I pair them and we were both instantly in love with this adorable summer outfit!
Why it works:
White pants will always be a summer style staple. These are on trend because of the high waist and slits in the knees. Navy and white is a classic color combination. The cut and detail of the top make it current and the fabric is breathable and lightweight for warm weather. Tan sandals to compliment the white and navy. Red hair scarf also had navy and white in the pattern, and seemed to be the perfect patriotic finishing touch for the upcoming Fourth of July holiday!
