~Maternity Maxi Skirt~
Just passed the 21 week mark… And so tough to find bottoms that fit my baby bump right now! I knew that I needed something with a stretching waist to grow with me. I had this lightweight black poly in my fabric stash and decided to try my hand at sewing with an elastic waistband. Plus, I have been searching for years to find a maxi skirt that I like with little luck. So now seemed like the perfect time to sew myself a maternity maxi skirt! Slipped that gold elastic band right over my belly and tucked in a black crew neck crop top. The look is so cute, so classic in black and gold and, most importantly, SO comfortable! Which any preggo knows how comfort is not that common while carrying a baby. Simply added a hot herbal tea and a denim jacket, to make the maternity maxi skirt more Fall fashion and to accommodate the cooler temps coming for Milwaukee. There’s something about holding a hot tea, with my favorite jean jacket in a casual chic outfit that always makes me love living in my life every Autumn! Hope you enjoyed my bump style while I’m halfway through my pregnancy!
