A few weeks ago, I woke up on our last day in Door County, WI and there it was, the first Fall chill in the air. What better time to bust out my first Fall flannel shirt for the season? I had already started shopping for some bump style and picked up this pretty red over-sized plaid flannel shirt at Target. It was already cut long enough to wear with leggings, which I LOVE! But I still went one size up to ensure I could wear all winter long as my belly grows. This was also the very same morning that I gave in and accepted it was time for my maternity leggings, as all my pants and shorts were pretty snug. These have the big stretchy belly band on top and I finally felt comfortable and unrestricted in a pair of pants! And here you have it… my maternity uniform of black leggings and big tops. This bright red plaid is one of my favorites so far and I feel very casual chic covering my little bump. That brisk Fall feeling makes me love living in my life and I enjoyed it for the first time this year on a late August morning in the Northern Woods. Just had to share a few cozy moments captured in with my morning tea and my first Fall flannel!
