My top five favorite finds and fashion from February 2022.
Art Prints by Minted
Honestly, I really did like my 9 family pics hung here in the family room. But after straightening them for the 100th time from the kids playing on the couch, I knew it was time for a change. I went back and forth about art vs family pics, then decided and searched many times, combing through what art work I liked the best. Finally chose this pair of abstract prints and I love them! I ordered size 18″ x 24″ with the white border and put into these frames from Amazon that are Plexiglas instead of real glass for kid safety.
classic trench coat by land’s end
A classic, tan trenchcoat. Need I say more. Especially one that’s waterproof and well made by Land’s End. Will be my go-to coat for this Spring season. Plus it’s still long for our cooler midwest temps. VERY happy with this addition to my outerwear collection.
the tushbaby
So here we are still toddler wearing with my 18 month old. And I don’t mind, because I know they grow so quick. However, my back and shoulders seem to mind as my frequency of chiropractic visits has increased. Luckily, I now have the Tushbaby belt that helps support his weight. Much easier for all the ups and downs of a busy toddler than strapping him into a carrier. Will be great for neighborhood walks, travel and airports, and summer festivals!
bounce house
Never did I think I’d be that lady who buys a whole bounce house for her kids… yet here we are. And we are here because it was her 5th birthday and she already has WAY too many toys. So we wanted to get one large present that BOTH kids will use. And really its the gift that keeps giving since I plan to use at all my future parties at the Henesy House and plan to use in the backyard this summer to occupy the kiddos while mom gardens and maybe even gets to enjoy my coffee hot on the patio!
rainbow gradient maxi dress
GGiven that today, March 6th, is National Dress Day, its only fitting that I’m sharing my newest favorite dress. This was purchased for our Florida vacation that had to be postponed. I’ll be honest, I wasn’t sure if I was going to love or hate the rainbow gradient, but this piece really caught my eye, so I had to try it. Well I love it! Like a lot. So I’ll be donning this maxi dress as much as possible for SS22. For brunch? Definitely. Date night? Yes. Vacation? Hell yes. Pool cover up? Yep. Grocery store? Sure. In my garden? Obviously!
There’s my 5 faves from last month. I bought more looks for vacation I may carry over to March. But I also may just treat myself to another dress or two since I’ve had to cancel my last 2 vacations out of the cold and I’ve been a patient lil lady! So stay tuned. And check out my January ’22 5 Faves…. <– that yoga mat is so pretty and zen and dreamy.
