Coffee and Cashmere
Happy Winter Solstice! The new season is officially here, and here in this blog we have a few of my favorite things…. constellations, cashmere sweater and a cool new coffee shop! Since moving up from Chicago, AND as a stay at home mom, I am always on the lookout for a great cafe and coffee shop where I can set up camp and work for a few hours. The newest coffee shop to open in Milwaukee is Fairgrounds Coffee and Tea in Yankee Hill. Such a clean, modern and comfortable vibe in there. Not to mention the rope swings! The menu is also everything that I want a coffee shop to have, and then some! I tried a seasonal avocado toast, which was so fresh and tasty! And of course, my favorite drink from Fairgrounds right now is the Maple Sweet Potato Latte. It includes: Espresso, Sweet Potato, Maple Syrup, Toasted Pepitas, Spiced Whipped Cream. Yes please!!!

And what goes better with coffee than cashmere?! I found this constellation covered cashmere sweater at The SoHo Boutique and was instantly in love. Soft black cashmere that layered over a classic white blouse and medium-darn demin for a smart, classic, timeless and ageless look. I did a French tuck with both the dress shirt and sweater to keep it modern and casual chic. Paired with some raw-hemmed Flying Monkey jeans from Soho, and a pointy black suede bootie. Coffee and cashmere, perfect for a morning of working, a meeting or catching up with friends at Fairgrounds Coffee and Tea!
