Sweet ’16 Swimwear

HOORAY! It’s finally time for a vacay and relaxing resort life! One week from today we will be heading to Arizona to escape the Midwest Winter weather. Originally we would’ve been to Jamaica and back. But due to the risks of the Zika virus all over the Caribbean, newlywed honeymooners like us, have to play it safe. So we canceled the trip, luckily with a full refund. We didn’t want to sacrifice a hot honeymoon altogether and after weeks of searching and deliberating locations we were still stumped. Thanks to my sister of Bloom and Blossom Photography, a prior resident of Arizona, she suggested we head Southwest where there are no mosquitoes and plenty of heat and sunshine… SOLD!

I had already made my trip to Target to try on their new swimsuits, while it was 15 degrees out, in preparation for vacation. Love that they are sold separately, allowing appropriate sizing for real shapes, as well as mixing and matching. Sharing with you today my sweet ’16 swimwear selections that are quite possibly perfect for the Southwest! AND these swim separates are buy one get one 50% off right now! Whether you’re headed to Spring break, south of the equator, or just stocking up for Summer these cute suits may be perfect for you too…

Officially ready to get out of dodge and resort in the sunshine of Scottsdale! Yes, I did buy a few other vacation pieces. But, let’s be honest… New bikini’s, cover up and hat will basically be my daily wardrobe. I’ll supplement with last Summer’s staples, such as shorts, sandals and sunglasses that I still love. And happily that makes for successful frugal fashion on our Southwest getaway! Thanks for stopping by and checking out my Sweet ’16 Swimwear!
