Happy Holidays from the Henesy Family in our matching pajamas! I really wanted to do the matching family pajamas pics last year, but I went with a dressed up, modern studio session for our first official Henesy family holiday card. So I already knew this year what the plan was!
Yep, we did the fam jams. Matching Christmas onesies for Mom, Dad and Lillian! I was fully prepared for my husband to hate them when the package arrived 2 months ago… yet once he put them on, he wanted to do the pics ASAP so he could wear the fam jams! Not because he loves coordinating sleepwear, but because these are SO ridiculously comfortable! Our holiday pajamas are the Red Rugby Stripe from Burt’s Bees Baby. I already knew they had great quality cottons from some of Lily’s bed linens I’ve bought. And the fam jams did not disappoint. In quality, or in cuteness!
This year, we also took our own pictures! It was a real Henesy holiday selfie session over here one morning. We used the tripod, remote control and everything. I am pretty proud of us for our super cute and cheesy holiday selfies having little to no photography skills! I added my edits, then sent off to print and post. Another adorable Henesy holiday card, mostly thanks to Lillian being like the cutest ever!
*This was also the first year that I really decorated the bedroom for Christmas. I never thought I could be that lady. Aren’t wreaths over your bed reserved for rich people? Nope. You can do it too! Obviously, I decorated everything for the pictures. Just used holiday decor I already owned and the big wreath I bought for my styled mini sessions. But then I started to take down when we were done and my husband asked why I would leave it until Christmas? He was right! Thanks babe! Oh and also a super duper huge gigantic thank you to my husband for agreeing to the cheesy Henesy holiday fam jams. The resounding responses were “Greg, you must really love Lauren!”
