Cozy Sweater, French Cafe

Cozy Winter Style Cozy Winter Style Cozy Winter Style Cozy Winter Style

When Winter is in full swing and it’s freezing cold, all I want to do is stay as cozy as possible ALL OF THE TIME! Each year I buy and buy, sweater to cozy sweater. I feel like Sam of Quantum Leap, hoping that the next sweater will be the final sweater. The warmest sweater. The coziest sweater. The sweater that will end all sweaters! Still searching, but this sweater came pretty close… and it was on the sale rack!

When Winter is in full swing and its’ freezing cold, you also might try out a local French cafe in lieu of standing outside for “streetstyle” pics. Last minute I told Amanda to meet me at a local spot I’ve never tried. I’ve lived here for 3 years now, drove by and walked by dozens of times It turned out to be picture perfect and family friendly with delicious dishes, fresh baked bread and of course, macaroons! So went full on Sunday brunch at the North Shore Boulangerie in Shorewood, Wisconsin.

Last week, during a quarterly Target trip, I found this furry white cardigan on the big sale rack against the back wall. (I love shopping this sale rack!) Naturally, I saw this cozy sweater in my size and had to have it.

Why it works:

I kept it simple and classic here in all black and white. Obviously a white cardigan is very versatile. But for contrast’s sake and to make it a little more casual chic, I wore all black underneath. High-waisted black jeans, pointy black booties, and my Milwaukee t-shirt tucked all the way in. A graphic tee I designed for Lizzibeth, a local boutique.

I couldn’t find this EXACT sweater online, but check your local sale rack or grab this very similar white cardigan, which even has pockets!
